Molly and Sonny Boy pen new Christmas song “Christmas Reminds Us” http://cdbaby.com/cd/mollysonnyboynew original Christmas song based on old English melodyon their new album. People around the world may be familiar with the melody of “Early One Morning,” the theme song of the kid's TV show “Gentle Giant.” But, Molly and Sonny Boy, New Ulm, Minnesota's original “Rhythm 'n Blues Grass” singer-songwriters have taken it up a notch. They have added new lyrics and modulated up the scale as they traverse from one verse to the next. To modulate in music means to change musical key. In this case, they modulate a half step on each verse. It is a tribute to their advanced musicianship and keen musical vocabulary. The traditional-ballad style song form lends well to the lyrics Molly and Sonny Boy have created. The public are free to enjoy this new song at Molly and Sonny Boy's MySpace page. It is found online at http://www.myspace.com/mollysonnyboy The song is a friendly, happy and uplifting song. It is a pretty song with a pretty melody that most people can relate to. Holiday music is one genre that Molly and Sonny Boy have enjoyed performing along with being recording artists. They have published their new original song through their own Independent music corporation. “We feel it's important for people to connect to the good things the holiday season impart regardless of their religions affiliations.” The song “Christmas Reminds Us,” is a testimony to the beauty and generous spirit of the season.
